Areas of expertise
My research focuses on how organizations respond to major social and environmental challenges in the Anthropocene era. I am particularly interested in alternative organizations and organizing for transitions, including multi-stakeholder partnerships, new governance models, managerial and evaluation tools. While considering the complexity of the environment and adopting a contextualist approach, I also analyse the impacts of adopting alternative models, strategies and tools on the organizations themselves. I have applied both quantitative and qualitative methods, and also engage in action research, to support organizations, from the social and solidarity economy, public, or private sectors, in defining and implementing innovative strategies to address social and environmental challenges.
